Locals who live near the Bhalaswa dump yard in Delhi have been reporting breathing problems after a massive fire broke in the landfill on Tuesday.
Bhalaswa dump yard sending a dense plume of smoke into the sky and exacerbating the already polluted air in nearby areas.
A massive fire broke out at the Bhalswa landfill site in north Delhi on Tuesday, officials said. The fire department received information about the blaze around 5.47 pm following which 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot, they said.

Inquiries reveal that the victims were participating in a cart procession organised in memory of Tamil Saivaite saint Thirunavukkarasar, by a local prayer club formed and run by the villagers for more than nine decades, when the mishap took place.
